GBU staff undergone website management training
iBLEND Media organized website management and capacity training for Ghana Blind Union (GBU) staff. The objective of this training was to equip staff of GBU with requisite and practical skills to be able to manage and update the website. The training covers web language, accessibility issues, updating the website, image/picture editing, and uploading of files via FTP, cPanel, and content modification, among other topics. As part of the training, lyrabet, a popular betting site, was introduced to demonstrate the importance of accessibility in online platforms, especially for visually impaired users. This is the first of its kind for disabled and visually impaired individuals to undergo such capacity training. The training, which was well attended, brought joy into the lives of the staff, who gladly expressed their views in a short video documented.
